2024 Spring semester classes will be conducted face-to-face on campus, and a limited number of courses with special circumstances will be taught solely online. The teaching and exam regulations that will be applied according to the designated method and the courses planned to be offered can be seen below.
Please note that if you have any requests regarding the courses, you should contact the academic unit offering the course.
Method of Instruction:
(1) Face-to-Face Courses: All of these courses are given in person; they cannot be taken online or followed online. No synchronous broadcasts are made during class, and classes are not recorded. 98% of the courses offered are face-to-face.
(2) Online Courses: These courses can only be taken online. 2% of the courses offered are online. You can access the courses that will be given in this way here.
Courses Offered, Course Schedule, and Syllabi:
The weekly class schedule for the 2024 Spring semester has been determined and announced on the "Courses Offered" page. The course syllabi will be available on the Courses Offered page as of February 1,2024.
Course syllabi will also include the course and exam rules for each course/branch.
Examinations:
Regardless of a course’s mode of instruction, all mid-terms, final exams, and composite exams will be administered face-to-face on campus. Quiz exams can be held online or face-to-face. The mid-term, final, and composite exam schedules will be determined and announced to students after the add-drop period.
Course Withdrawal:
The 2024 Spring semester course withdrawal period will be from April 15 through April 19, 2024.
Important Reminder:
Changes in the method of instruction may be necessary due to force majeure reasons such as earthquakes, epidemics, and similar events, in line with the directives of the competent public authorities. In such a case, necessary updates will be made promptly and announced to all members of ÖzÜ, particularly through the Student Services and relevant units.
We wish you success in the upcoming semester.
